In the period of October and the first decade of November, Door Open Days were conducted in more than 100 Kompanion Bank sub branches for students of 9-11 grades. Employees of the Kompanion Bank informed young people importance of savings and effective planning of pocket money spending. Talks were implemented in a fun and interactive form. Young people made calculations of profits from deposits and answered questions about world currencies as well as gave examples of simple ways to save money. Right answers received prizes such as company gifts. Also, participants were interested about cash encashment service system. During Door Open Days more than 1000 children participated in the event. 86 new clients opened special deposit program “Future Millionaire”.

FINCA Bank Receives the Community Service Award
Recently the awards ceremony took place within the framework of the annual meeting of the members and partners of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic. The awards were intended to celebrate the Amcham members’ excellence and recognize their accomplishments in the following seven nominations: “Excellence in innovation and technology award”, “The most exciting product of the year award”, “Community service award”, “Amcham service award”, “The Executive of the Year”, “Entrepreneurship award” and “The Best company to work for award”.
Kompanion Bank is a regular partner of Khan Manas international tournament
Kompanion Bank has been supporting Khan Manas International Judo Tournament for young people for 7 years now. The tournament began in 2010. Participants from neighboring countries take part in the tournament, and the tournament has become one of the most important sport events in Central Asia. The main idea of the tournament is to give ideological education and form good human values amongst young people.
The World Savings Day with FINCA Bank
The CJSC “FINCA Bank” has supported the initiative of the National Bank of Kyrgyz Republic and Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation of Germany directed to the growth of culture of savings in Kyrgyzstan. Throughout October, specialists of FINCA Bank delivered number of trainings on savings for the adult population and for high school students across the country.
The highlight was celebrating of the Savings Day which took place from October, 24 to October, 31 in all the branches of the CJSC “FINCA Bank”. The invitees took part in trainings on financial literacy and familiarized themselves with banking products and services.
Bai-Tushum Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development have signed agreements for USD 4 mln.
Bai-Tushum Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have signed loan agreements for the amount of USD 4 mln., contemplating the funding of energy efficient projects under the Kyrgyz Sustainable Energy Financing Facility (KyrSEFF), as well as lending to small and medium business. The agreements provide for technical consultations rendered to Bai-Tushum Bank by the EBRD, which are funded with donor money, allocated by the Investment Facility for Central Asia (IFCA) of the European Union.
