X International Banking Forum 2026 (IBF 2026) will be held in Baku in strategic partnership with Mastercard on November 24–25, 2026.
Held under the theme “Reliable, Safe, and Sustainable Banking and Technologies,” the Forum is supported by the Azerbaijan Banks Association, the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), the Council of Banks Associations of the Turkic States (CBATS), the banking associations of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Türkiye, the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan, as well as other partner organizations.
Highlights from previous Forums:
IBF is the only specialized banking and finance event in Azerbaijan attended by all bank CEOs. The Forum also brings together representatives of regulatory authorities, fintech companies, international financial institutions, diplomatic missions, academia, industry associations, technology providers, investors, and key decision-makers from Azerbaijan and abroad.
Delegations from neighboring countries and other international financial centers further strengthen IBF’s regional and global significance.
The main topics of IBF 2026 will include artificial intelligence and AI governance in banking and supervision; digital transformation and the future of banking; open banking, open finance and data sharing; digital identity and modern KYC solutions; instant, cross-border and next-generation payments; cybersecurity, operational resilience and fraud prevention; tokenization, digital money and the future of financial infrastructure; sustainable and green finance; financial inclusion and SME financing; capital markets and alternative funding opportunities; regulatory and supervisory technologies; and other key developments shaping the future of banking and finance.
In addition to the main Forum program, side events including meetups, seminars, webinars, competitions and dedicated thematic sessions will provide further opportunities for knowledge exchange, networking and collaboration among participants.
