The AIFC Green Finance Centre announces the opening of a vacancy for the Director of the “Green Finance Centre Bishkek” LLC (hereinafter – the Company) in Bishkek, the Kyrgyz Republic. The Company is a subsidiary of the AIFC Green Finance Centre ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the GFC), which is located in Nur–Sultan, Kazakhstan.
The co-shareholders of the company in Kyrgyzstan are JSC “Aiyl Bank”, CJSC “Kyrgyz Stock Exchange”, as well as the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan.
The Director of the Company will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of the company’s strategy at the country level in coordination with stakeholders. In addition, Director will establish and maintain relationships with senior management in the public and private sectors, and make efforts to develop business.
Responsibilities:
- Implementation of general management of all activities of the Company
- Control over the rational and efficient use of all the resources of the Company, including financial and labor
- Organization of the Company’s work in order to achieve effective interaction of all structural divisions of the Company
- Implementation of a set of measures to monitor compliance by the Company’s employees with the requirements of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, internal regulatory documents of the Company and job responsibilities
- Implementation of a set of measures to monitor the implementation of decisions of the Founders of the Company;
- Provision of information, reporting on the Company’s activities to the Founders of the Company.
- Development and timely implementation of the Company’s strategic plans.
- Conducting research in the field of “green” and sustainable finance.
- Support for the issuance of sustainable (green, social, sustainable, sustainability–related, ESG-related bonds and loans.
- Provision of consulting and information services related to the Company’s activities, as well as to companies and organizations of the Kyrgyz Republic in terms of business development and optimization.
- Ensuring effective interaction with the bodies and organizations of the Astana International Financial Centre.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience, including 5 years of successful work in a similar position in international organizations and companies.
- Higher education with major in “Business”, “Economics”, “Public Administration” or related fields. Education from leading Western universities is preferable.
- Having an MBA degree is preferable.
- Fluency in English and Kyrgyz languages.
- CFA and CIMA certificates will be a plus.
- At least 2 letters of recommendation from previous jobs.
- Professional skills in developing business plans, investment projects and building financial models.
- A clear understanding of the tactics of growth and leadership of the team.
- Analytical skills, excellent written and oral communication, presentation skills.
- 10. Deep understanding of the sector, business/market development cycles in the country, as well as issues of environmental and social sustainability and possible development of the dynamics of the sector.
According to the specifics of job position, the director should know:
- Legislative and regulatory legal acts regulating the operational and financial and economic activities of the Company, resolutions of the state authorities and management bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic, defining priority directions of economic development and the relevant industry.
- Methodological and regulatory materials of other bodies related to the Company’s activities.
- Profile, specialization and features of the structure of the Society; prospects for economic and social development of the industry.
- Tax, environmental, labor legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- The procedure for drawing up and approving business plans for the financial and economic activities of the Company, market methods of enterprise management.
- A system of economic indicators that allow the company to determine its position in the market and develop programs for entering new markets.
- The procedure for concluding and executing financial contracts, market conditions.
- International best practices in the relevant branch of the Company.
- Management of the economy and finances of Society, organization of labor.
- The procedure for the development and conclusion of agreements, contracts and regulation of social and labor relations, labor legislation.
- Rules and regulations of labor protection.
