The Sustainability Academy of the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan

The Sustainability Academy of the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan is a professional educational and business platform for delivering training and corporate events. The Academy serves as a center for developing competencies in sustainable development, ESG, and modern financial practices, including banking, corporate governance, risk management, digital financial technologies, compliance, regulation, and business development.

The Academy’s history dates back to 1996, when, by decision of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Bank Training Center was established within the framework of the expanded FINSAC Program for the restructuring of the financial and banking sector, implemented at the initiative and under the auspices of the World Bank. In accordance with the decision of the National Bank, the Center was granted the status of a structural subdivision of the NBKR. In 2007, it was reorganized into the Training Center of the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan. The Academy operates under an educational license issued by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (License No. АШ1425).

Since January 2024, the Training Center of the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan has been undergoing a phased reorganization aimed at enhancing the quality of its services and expanding the range of training programs. As part of this process, the Sustainable Development Academy was officially launched on April 26, 2024.

The Academy has two modern training rooms fully equipped for conducting trainings, seminars, presentations, round tables, and mini-conferences. The facilities are оснащены multimedia equipment, high-speed internet access, and video presentation systems, and can be adapted to suit the format and objectives of each event.

The Academy cooperates with national and international experts, профиль organizations, and financial institutions to ensure the high quality of its educational programs and events. We create an environment that fosters professional dialogue, practical knowledge exchange, and the development of sustainable partnerships.

The Academy’s venue is suitable both for its own educational programs and for hosting events of external organizations, offering flexible rental conditions and comprehensive organizational support – from venue preparation to technical assistance and event coordination.
